The Crescent is an elegant medium to full bodied Shiraz that echoes all the hallmarks of a Basket Press wine.

The grapes have been carefully handpicked and gently basket pressed to extract all the goodness from the grape without over crushing the skins and seeds, providing a fine tannin balance and further extraction of deep red colour with purple hue.

A memorable lingering mouthfeel and layered palate with exquisite dark fruits and berry flavours with hints of pepper, vanilla and fine silky-smooth tannins.

A wine that is drinking beautifully now and will cellar for years to come.

Well balanced with lightly integrated French oak, allowing the fruit and flavours to dominate!

The Bakaj Vineyards at Crescent-Renmark lie in one of the most “fertile soils” along our river Murray.

This fertile black clay and very dry climatic conditions have produced fruit of great quality and intensity.

It is here from the Shiraz Vineyard that One Lonely Barrel has chosen to make our second Shiraz to our Multi Medal Winning One Lonely Barrel Barossa Shiraz!
